My book, [Un]Intentional: How Screens Secretly Shape Your Desires, and How You can Break Free, has received some nice recent recognition.

First, it won a Silver medal in the 2020 Illumination Book Awards for the Self-Help/Recovery category. These national awards “are designed to honor and bring increased recognition to the year’s best new titles written and published with a Christian worldview.”

Within the same week, my book won the Notable Book award at the Southern Christian Writer’s Conference Book Expo in the self-published nonfiction category. I’m especially grateful to the leaders of the SCWC for their kindness, encouragement, and support at the 2020 Book Expo in Birmingham.
Heartfelt thanks to all of the judges who took the time to read my book among the many entries.
The best thing about book awards are the new doors they open to reach people — those who hunger for ways to think more clearly, make better decisions, and fulfill their God-given purpose in our screen-saturated world.

Congratulations, Doug! The honors are well deserved. I tried to hit the “like” button for this post, but it didn’t like me. 🙂
Thank you, Sally! I’m sorry that WordPress didn’t “like” your like, but I appreciate your kind encouragement very much! God bless you and your family!
